World Asthma Day 2023

The Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) is promoting World Asthma Day 2023 today, May 2nd, as a way to spread awareness of asthma and asthma care. GINA is cooperating with patients and health care providers alike to work towards easing the pains of asthma, especially in developing countries where access to treatment can be limited. GINA is celebrating it’s 30th year since inception with the theme “Asthma Care for ALL” aiming to bridge the gap between asthma patient and asthma care.

In recognition of World Asthma Day, GINA has provided a list of activities to promote asthma awareness at a grass roots level. This includes hosting public discussions, contacting local legislators, and fundraising for charity. You can view these activities here: World Asthma Day Activties
